(P. Ruh & P. Hofer 1987) [Large 18″ x 27″] Sport of ‘Perry’s True Blue.’ This large-growing classic hosta is one of the best for gold and green foliage. In spring, the leaves unfurl revealing a wide chartreuse splash in the center surrounded by bright rich green. By early summer it matures to a bright yellow center with dark green edges. In late summer, tall flower spikes bloom with lavender trumpet-shaped flowers. The large size gives a dramatic impact in the garden. Although no hosta is immune to slugs, this one does show some resistance, especially once the foliage matures.
