(H. Hansen 2006) [Mini 4″ x 9″]
A true miniature that is ideal for the front of borders, in rock or trough gardens. It has tiny heart-shaped blue leaves neatly edged with pure white. ‘Country Mouse’ bears white flowers on 12″-14″ scapes in July. This special hosta is a sport of ‘Bill Dress’s Blue’ so not a member of the “true” BME mice family in lineage, but is one of the neatest little hostas I have. Can be somewhat slow but will grow to a very pretty 3″ – 4″ mound. It has been one of my favorites since the first day I got it. This one will brighten your day so put it where you can see and enjoy it every day!
